Class of 2006

Last Thursday was Tasya's graduation day. Yes, it was on Thursday evening form 5pm to 7pm and the kids have to be at the hall at 4pm, that means parents have to take leave on that day. When we found out that it was on working day, we asked Tasya to ask her teacher why they did it on Thursday. I told her to tell the teacher that my parents are working on that day. Guess how the teacher answered her? " Tell you parents to take leave"... Cis..bagus punya jawapan.

So, I had to take half day leave, Amli had an exhibition which means that he can only be there after 5pm. I took both Tasya and Azrai there by cab, we reached at the MPAJ hall in Pandan Indah at 3.00pm. Yes, we were an hour early. With nothing to do, both me and Azrai went to Pandan Capital with the intention of having Vanilla Ice-cream at Mcdonalds to kill the time. Went there, no vanilla ice-cream-asked the girl there, she said there are closing down, so no ice-cream. To pacifier Azrai I had to buy toys for him.

At about 10 mins to 4pm, we went back to the hall. There were lots of parents there, busy taking pictures of their kids in their graduation robe and mortar(?). Since we were early, we got a good seat, second from the stage, in the middle lane. A good seat to take photos since Amli was not there, so I do not have someone who is tak malu to really go infront and take gambar.

Once all the parents are seated, then the ceremony began by the kids went in the hall class by class led by their teachers. It was a very touchy moment seeing my daughter walked down the aisle in her robe. There was this mother who sat next to me, cried her heart out seeing her daughter. Alamak, I was praying in my heart please don't let me cry. Malulah..

Her class was the first class, since the school did not employ professional photographer, parents are allowed to be in front of the stage. I think if Amli was there, he will be on the stage taking pictures. I will download the pictures here soon. After the ceremony, her class have a special presentation for the parents and teachers. I will also download the video soon here.

I was so proud of Tasya on that day. Time flies so quickly, I feel like only yesterday I held her in my arms. She was so pink and bulat, with no batang hidung at all. Then 6 years later, there she was on the stage finishing the first part of her life.

Dear Tasya

You have long way to go. Life is not always bed of roses. Sometimes things are not going your way. You will face disspointment in life but don't despair because all these will make you stronger, it will make you appreciate life more. Sometimes, you feel like life is suck, but just bear with it. It will get better. Trust me.

You will meet boys in your life, some will break your heart, don't worry and don't feel sad. This will make your heart stronger and make the next relationship even better.

No matter what you do, or how you feel you can always count on me. I will always be there for you. I will always love you. You are my pride and joy. You always make me proud.

Love you always
Mama

Gambar Raya

My Handsome Boy

My handsome boy, Mohamad Azrai Arif Bin Amli Mahfuz is his full name but if you ask him he would tell you that his name is Azrai Mat Arip or Azrai Aiman. We called him kawan Aiman because of the famous "Aiman Tak kisah advert". At first he was annoyed but after awhile he get used to it. He is the most manja amongs the siblings, he still sleeps with us, and he is the only one(minus Adik since Adik can't talk yet)who will ask me first thing in the morning either I have to go to work or not. He will jump with joy if I told him that I'm not working on that day, and sulk into sadness if I told him otherwise.

He is the control macho kind of boy, the was once incident where he threw up inside the car, he cried but not because of the threw up thing but because he was in a mess. He kept crying "Abis Abang, abis abang". He has to look smart all the time and he likes it if people pay him compliments-one of the reason that he wear the whole suit of baju melayu on the first day of raya because people kept telling him that he looked handsome with the baju melayu.

He is also the keras kepala one, and can throw tantrum like nobody business. Everytime he threw tantrum, we wil teased him even more. We would say that he has his "tok sheikh" with him, if he is in a good mood we would ask him "where is Tok Sheikh?". He will then replied that "Tok Sheikh" dah pegi kerja!!"

He is the only grandson from my side, so you can imagine how spoilt he is, he can easily manipulate his grandma and grandpa as he called my parents. Everyday he will ketuk them at least 1 hotwheel per day. Once he threw tantrum and my father took him to 7 Eleven and he bought a car worth RM23.90. Luckily it did not work and we got our money back. He has close to 150 pieces or maybe more of hotwheel cars. Cars is his obsession, he loves them and he can play with them all the times.

We once found a Chinese horoscope site and it predicts that Azrai will be a very wealthy man when he is 36 years old, hopefully it will come true and I pray to Allah everyday for Azrai to be anak yang soleh.

Raya with my kids

My kids really enjoyed themselves this raya. Last raya both Azrai and Adriana threw tantrum on the first day of raya. They refused to wear the baju melayu and baju kurung respectively, but this year it was different.
Azrai was really looking forward for raya because we kept telling him this is the time for him to collect duit raya and he can buy his dreams toys!! Azrai wanted an orange baju melayu, we went around KL looking for an orange baju melayu. He specifically asked for an orange baju melayu like the one that Mawi wore on the Taskirah Ramadhan( you know the programme in RTM 1 where they have famous artists reciting the Quran. We could not find it, we then settled down for a maroon/orange baju melayu. At first he refused to wear it because he said that the baju is red in colour and not orange orange. We have to tell everybody and I meant everybody to agreed with us that his baju is orange. My dear uncle even went and explained to him that orange have many different kind of orange, we have red orange, chocolate orange, etc. Since he likes cars so much we ven told him that his baju melayu is like an orange Gen-2,( you know Gen-2 have 1 in kindda red orange and the other ones is realli red). Only then he accepted his baju melayu. And when people asked him what is the colour of his baju melayu, he would replied orange Gen-2!!. On that day, he even wore the full costume complete with songkok, samping and capal. He looked dashing(I know I'm biased but heh I'm his mom and I'm entitled for that)He wore that the whole day.

Adriana was another cute little thing. She looked so cute wearing her baju kurung. I noticed that Adriana loved it when we put a new or nice clothes on her. She will go around and show to everbody her nice clothes. I put her gold necklace and chain and she kept looking at them. She looked so cute with her baju kurung.

Tasya, as always-she is the most bergaya one. She kept asking me can she wear make up on raya, when I said OK. She was so happy, and kept applying her lipstick after she ate. My ever so vain daughter.

I will post the gambar once I have time to uplaod it, and maybe I will do the slide show like the ones from Auntie Yatie's blog.
