Class of 2006

Last Thursday was Tasya's graduation day. Yes, it was on Thursday evening form 5pm to 7pm and the kids have to be at the hall at 4pm, that means parents have to take leave on that day. When we found out that it was on working day, we asked Tasya to ask her teacher why they did it on Thursday. I told her to tell the teacher that my parents are working on that day. Guess how the teacher answered her? " Tell you parents to take leave"... Cis..bagus punya jawapan.
So, I had to take half day leave, Amli had an exhibition which means that he can only be there after 5pm. I took both Tasya and Azrai there by cab, we reached at the MPAJ hall in Pandan Indah at 3.00pm. Yes, we were an hour early. With nothing to do, both me and Azrai went to Pandan Capital with the intention of having Vanilla Ice-cream at Mcdonalds to kill the time. Went there, no vanilla ice-cream-asked the girl there, she said there are closing down, so no ice-cream. To pacifier Azrai I had to buy toys for him.
At about 10 mins to 4pm, we went back to the hall. There were lots of parents there, busy taking pictures of their kids in their graduation robe and mortar(?). Since we were early, we got a good seat, second from the stage, in the middle lane. A good seat to take photos since Amli was not there, so I do not have someone who is tak malu to really go infront and take gambar.
Once all the parents are seated, then the ceremony began by the kids went in the hall class by class led by their teachers. It was a very touchy moment seeing my daughter walked down the aisle in her robe. There was this mother who sat next to me, cried her heart out seeing her daughter. Alamak, I was praying in my heart please don't let me cry. Malulah..
Her class was the first class, since the school did not employ professional photographer, parents are allowed to be in front of the stage. I think if Amli was there, he will be on the stage taking pictures. I will download the pictures here soon. After the ceremony, her class have a special presentation for the parents and teachers. I will also download the video soon here.
I was so proud of Tasya on that day. Time flies so quickly, I feel like only yesterday I held her in my arms. She was so pink and bulat, with no batang hidung at all. Then 6 years later, there she was on the stage finishing the first part of her life.
Dear Tasya
You have long way to go. Life is not always bed of roses. Sometimes things are not going your way. You will face disspointment in life but don't despair because all these will make you stronger, it will make you appreciate life more. Sometimes, you feel like life is suck, but just bear with it. It will get better. Trust me.
You will meet boys in your life, some will break your heart, don't worry and don't feel sad. This will make your heart stronger and make the next relationship even better.
No matter what you do, or how you feel you can always count on me. I will always be there for you. I will always love you. You are my pride and joy. You always make me proud.
Love you always
