Test

Tasya had her very first test for her secondary(opps...sorry primary) school last 2 weeks. When we found out that she have monthly test, we did the revision with her but knowing Tasya it was a very difficult task. She always had her excusese; she was hungry, she was tired, she was hot, she was thiristy, etc. It was really a challenged to ask her to do her revision.

Everyday after the test I would called her from the office and asked her how it went, as usual she would give me her standard answer; it was OK, and it was easy peasy especially English; her exact quote was "English...senang kacang"

Last week and this week were the result time, and her results are as follows:
i) Agama(religious studies) 70%
ii)English 98%
iii)Maths 100%
iv)Malay-Comprehension 98%
v) Malay-Essay Writing 100%

Before her test, Amli promised her that if she got good result Amli will treat her to Pizza Hut,sine pizza was her favaourite food but when we told her yesterday she ssaid NO..she changed her mind. She said from nowon she does not want anything else from us except a Mobile Phone!!! She wants a mobile phone and she is only 7!!! I got my first mobile phone when I was 25, and she wants it now. Mind you she does not want an old phone but she wants one that comes with MP3 player, and a camera, and of course pink in colour.

Before you know it, she would ask for a laptop...opsss..wait she already asked that one from me. Heh..what happened to just a simple meal out, or a Barbie doll or a board games?? Guess, this is the new era where everything is online.

She is so smart.....

My baby is a smart girl..I know I'm biased here but she really is. Althought she is a bit slow in almost everything but she surprises us sometimes like yesterday. I came back and as usual none of my kids had their evening bath yet, well except Adriana because they bathe her in her school before we picked her up. So, I asked well yelled actually to the older kids to have their bath and of course Adriana would also wants to join in the fun. I asked Tasya to help Adriana take off her clothes, I took off Adriana's shirt and kept asking Tasya to help taking off Adriana's pants. Tasya being Tasya just took her own sweet time to do that.

Then, I looked at the kids and to my surprised Adriana was trying to take off her pants by herself....I was so touched and happy and delighted that she actually took the iniciative to do it by herself, she is trying to be independant. And I was happy that I went to her and hugged her and kissed her and she was also happy, she kept hugging me back.

Then, my sister told me of an earlier incident when she was trying to do things by herself. Azrai was putting on his socks and Adriana upon seeing Azrai wearing his socks, she then took Tasya's socks and tried to put it on her feet, she still trying until my sister told her that she does not need the socks.

And later that night, she wanted to sit on this small chair with Tasya but Tasya took both of the chairs, Adriana then went to the kitchen and was trying to push the dining chair to the living room so that she can sit on that chair and still play with Tasya.

Despite her 'special' conditions, she kept on surprising us with her abilities and there is hope that she will lead a normal life.

After the party

The party went smoothly..well almost. My sister has kindly agreed to become the driver for that day, she went and picked all the guests and they arrived at our place at about 8pm. We had pizzas for dinner(as planned by Tasya) oh, yes we had extra guest-Pak Uda who gave us the pity look in order for him to be included. Fooled by his look, we gave in.

After dinner, they went to Tasya's room and they had games, make over and of course karaoke. They were still singing until 12 midnite, after that it was light off. I thought everything was ok until I was woken up by the girls' voices. They were all in front of the tele watching cartoon netwook. I asked them why are they still up, they told me that they could not sleep, told them that they better get some sleep because the next day we are going to Putrajaya to watch the flora parade or the float.

The next day, with 3 cars we went to Putrajaya to watched the flora floats, it was ok...lots of people and after that we went to a park in Putrajaya to had picnic. It was fun, the kids had fun, we the adults had fun too.
