Bad News

Sorry guys, I tired very hard to upload Tasya's concert but until today still I cannot do it. Maybe the file is too big, it's about 5 mins. I will try again later but if by next week you still did not see it, looks like you will never going to see it here.

My Superstar

Last Saturday was Tasya's kindergarden concert. This would be her final concert in CEC. For the past 2 years we did not managed to get a good seats because we were on time. In the circular to parents, the school said be there at 10am, but when we were there at 10-it was always full. So, this year we decided to be there at 9am. Still it was lots of people waiting. They only open the door at 9.30am.

We managed to grab the second row seats-which was a good seats. This year theme was CEC Superstars. Tasya was chosen to be the little emcee for her class. She was good, she loves doing all that. She slept over at my parents's place because she wanted to plait her hair and being a 'good' mother that I am-I do not know how to do that. So, she has to sleep over at my parents place so that my sister can plait her hair. She was so excited about her concert that she hardly sleep that night. She called us at 5.15am!!! just to remind us not to forget her red eyeshadow and her black socks. 5.15am ok!!! Apparently she woke up at 4.50am!!!

She was good both in the emcee and also the dancing. Soon, I will be download the video of her speech and her dancing. We were so proud of her-we kept shouting her name when we saw her own stage, we kept waving at her too. She is really a smart girl and we are ever so proud of her. She is my superstar.

Tasya

After her birthday party, she was very happy. She even started sleeping in her own bedroom. It was such a major event for all of us. We were excited, finally she decided that she is big enough to sleep on her own. To keep her company, we asked Azrai to sleep in the same room too. It was a challenge with Azrai but will tell it later.
Tasya was chosen to be a little emcee for her concert. I asked her why she was chosen, according to her because she can read while the rest of her friends can't read that well. She really can read, everyday she will read the daily newspaper but like the majoruty of us she will read the gossip column first. She will read it out aloud, so and so is getting engaged, so and so is getting married, etc. She even write down in her diary what she read in the paper and sometimes she write her own news. She is one smart kid. Sometimes I wonder how can I produce such a wonderful kid. One day, she was saying something and both me and amli just looked at her blankly. She was so annoyed with us saying that "ayah and mama nie tak pahamlah". I was laughing but Amli took this seriuosly saying that this statement came too soon. He was expecting it to come like in another 10 years time. I'm so looking forward when she turn into a teenager...NOT.
Oh, yesterday, she lost 2 of her front teeth.

Abang

Like I wrote before, to make Abang sleep on his own what such a challenge to us. He still insisted that he is still a small boy therefore he must sleeps with us. He came up with all excuses why he should not sleep on his own. His room do not have air-conlah, malam-malam hantu will kacau him lah, all sort of excuses. I will always tell him that he has his bunny to protect him. His bunny can 'kentut' to all the hantus if they want to kacau him. He always says that if anything want to kacau him, bunny will kentut them away.
One night, he went to our room, amli told him to go his own room, saying that this is my room please go to your room. Abang then replied "no, this is my room. Your room is over they. My room is purple, your room is pink". Amli lost for words!!
Azrai now also has become a chatterbox. He lost his baby talk all together and now he is like Tasya also. Talk non-stop all day all night!! The irritating part with Azrai is that he always have an answer to what ever you told him.
He can sing too, although the words are like, jumble all over but he can sing. Maybe I will take his video while he is singing. His favourite song now is 'Put your head in the game'-soundtrack from High School Musical. Took the video of him singing yesterday, will put it up once I have a chance of doing it.

Adik

Adik is always special to us. Every little thing that she did was like a major event to us. Like the time when she first said her first word, to the only time that she said mama, to the first time she managed to drink using a straw. To other people these things are nothing but to Adik it is a major achievement. The thing about Adik is that everytime she did accomplish something, she will clap her hand and she will look at you and she expect you to do the same too. Hih!hih!hih! cannot blame her really because we taught her take. I always believe that you have to encourage your kids no matter how small the things that they did or how insignificant it is but you must always encourage them. Adik loves music and dancing. Her first dance was in the form of her rocking her body front and back and moving her both arams too. Like But now she learned a new dancing skills, she will dance and moving around. She was so cute dancing like that. The first time she did this, we were so excited(biasalah!!). She then did it all the time for the whole night until we asked her to stop...that's adik. She is so adorable and so cute and she is smart too. She might be slow but I noticed that she is very observent. She will watch you and the next time she will follow your action. Like for example, when you asked her to go and take her bath, she will grab her towel and head to the toilet while trying to take off her top. There was one day, she was observing amli adjusting the aircond using a rolled poster(very the canggih my hubby),then she took the same thing and did the same thing!!! Funny.

After the party

Phew....finally it's over. THE party of the year is OVER. It was a very tiring day for me and Amli but vey memorable day for Tasya. She was really happy about the turn up and of course with all the presents that she got for that day.

It's started for me anyway after I rushed back from work. Prepared the food, have to fry the chicken nuggets and the sausages, have to prepare the table(luckily for me my elder sister was at home. She helped some of the preparation). At 5pm, prepared the kids so that they will look presentable. In the meantime, Liza gave me panic attack when she was 10 minutes late with the food. However she was forgiven because the food were sedap, all my guests said so. Compliment to the chef.

About 5pm, people started coming in. At about 5.30pm it was full swing. Almost all the people that we invited came for the party. My parents' house was packed with all the relatives. Alomst 100 people were in the house(imagine the noises).

Tasya was so happy, she kept telling people that Saturday was "hari yang paling bahagia buat Tasya"-see lah her words, no wonder lah nak jadik Cikgu Bahasa Melayu!!!

Fireworks!!!

We watched fireworks last Wednesday. It was fun night, all of us with baju tidur, went there and with all other people regardless of age and race watched it together. Tasya, Abang and adik were all excited. Unfortunately, we couuld not watch the KLCC fireworks. We only managed to watched the ones from Dataran Merdeka and Bukit Bintang. However, we had fun that night.
