Recent Conversations That I had with my Kids

1) Tasya

Tasya: Mama, umur Mama berapa?
Me: (wow, what a very sensitive issue). Kenapa, Tasya tanya?
Tasya: Iyalah(her fav. phrase.) Tasya nak cakap kat Rozita, Mama umur berapa. Mama 18 tahun kan?
Me:( Hhe!Heh!Heh!-laughing in my head). Betulalah tu.
Tasya: Mama kawin umur berapa?
Me: Kenapa?
Tasya: Kalau umur 11 tahun boleh kawin tak?( to her 11 years old seem old enough to get marry)
Me: Mana boleh, 11 tahun tu kecik lagi, tau tak?( I then gave her an example of someone who is 11 years old. Someone that she knows). 11 tahun tu baru macam Pak Uda tau.
Tasya: Pak Uda 11 tahun?? Bila boleh kawin Mama?
Me: Bila Tasya dah kerja, dah ada banyak duit. Baru boleh kawin.( I did not tell her about true love because it's all bullshit).
Tasya: Nanti bila Tasya dah kerja, Tasya nak kawinlah Mama.
Me: OK.

2) Azrai

Me: Abang, abang nie handsome tak?
Azrai: Handsome.( Haiya, my son is so vain lah)
Me: Sapa lagi handsome, Abang ke Mawi?
Azrai: Abang lah.
Me: Abang, abang nie rajin tak?
Azrai: Rajin, tak macam Kakak.
Me: Abang, nanti Abang dah besar nak beli kereta apa?
Azrai: Ahh, Volvo Car, Mercedez Benz, Po Pei(Porsche)
Me: Mama boleh naik tak kereta Abang?
Azrai: Tak boleh
Me: Kenapa tak boleh
Azrai: Mama duduk belakang jea, Abang bawa car.
Me: OK, Mama duduk belakang jea.
Azrai: OK.

I love having a chit chat with my kids, sometimes the answer that they gave you can knock you off your feet. Sometimes I wonder how can they become so smart, who teach them all these things? Certainly not me or probably it was me, may be they listen to what I said and what I did in front of them. Subconciously on my part I did teach them a thing or two.

Pictures of My 3 Little Rascals

These are my angles, my precious little things. They can make me scream one day and laugh with joy the other day.

Abang with his latest hair style, Mawi. Kena ikut peredaran fashion, ma.

Tasya before her annual concert, trying very hard to look cute. I think she managed to make herself look glamourous

My little angle, isn't she cute?

Another photo of Tasya, she trying to look as if she is not interested, but we know better.

Two most important and good looking males in our family.

First Steps

Adriana took her first steps Saturday night, and we're so proud of her. She is 18 months old and before this she showed no interest of walking. Got me worried about her. We even brought her to see Child Specialist, but nothing can be done since she is still young. No physical test for her yet. The doctor just asked us to monitor her progress. Since that day, I kept pushing her to walk but she just refused to do it. If I forced her, she just refused. She just sit there and then crawl if she wants to go anywhere. But at least she wants to stand up on her own, that's kind of assurance for me because I know that her legs are fine, it's just she refused to walk.

But on Saturday night, she was standing close to our sofa and suddenly she walked to the sofa. I was so proud of her, and I asked the whole family to watch Adriana walked again. She did that and this time all of us except Abang(who was busy at that time watching the telly) saw her walking towards the sofe. We all cheered when she reached the sofa, and we all hugged her. I think she is also proud of herself because after that she kept clapping her hand and laughing as if to tell us that she is happy too.

Last night, she kept on practising her steps and balancing her body. And I'm hoping that by the time we're off to East Coast, she can walk and she can experience walking along the beach. That is really a wonderful family holiday.

Aku nama Natata

As my previous post, Azrai is bit pelat but now he is improving, and lately I noticed that he is a funny guy, he can tell jokes(if you understands him of course). There's one night, before we went to bed Azrai went to the bed and started dancing and singing. At first I thought he was just moving his body, and just singing usual song. Then I heard it properly, he actually singing "Aku nama Natata", like 3 times and then said "macih"

I asked him to repeat the dance routine and sing it one more time. He did that, and true enough he was singing a song about his sister!!. Tasya was so angry, both me and Amli could not stop laughing and Azrai with his muka selamba kept on singing. He is so funny.

Recently he has a hair cut. He went to his usual barber with my father. When I got back from work, I was so shocked to see his hair-it was so short, GI Joe style. Then, I asked him " kenapa abang potong rambut macam nie"(why do you cut yor hair like this?. He answered me with a smile "Macam mawi!!" Apparently, he himself asked the barber to cut his hair like that. Hai ya, all my kids are so celebraties copy cat-very pening kepala. And everytime Mawi is on the telly-he will go infront of the telly, touch his hair and said "same lah!!"

My mummy works here

Tasya joined English Class at BC, last Friday was her first day here( well, actually she attended English Class last year too but she always miss the first day).

This time around she managed to join on the first day of class. As usual, first thing that the teacher will explains to the kids about our Fire safety Procedure, etc.

This was told to me by CREK who happened to be in the class during this conversation took part. Her teacher was telling the whole class about fire safety, where to go and what to do if the fire alarm goes off. Then, suddenly Tasya just voice out her concern and asked the teacher, what if her mother works here, who should she follows? The teacher or her mother. Her teacher was stunned and then as if that is not enough she then went on and told her teacher that her mummy works downstraits. Her teacher then have to make it clear to her that she must all the times follows her teacher during lesson times. When CREK was telling me this, she could not stop laughing.

Somrtimes I wonder how she get to be so smart, and I'm so proud of her. Times like this makes me forget all carzy things that she did at home like failed to clean up after playing and refuse to listen to us when we asked her to do something for us.

Inner Peace

One day during one of the long weekends, I saw Tasya doing this funny things with her body. She was streching and pulling her body in this funny positions. I then asked her what is she doing.
Me:Tasya, What are you doing?
Tasya: I'm doing yoga.
Me: Why?
Tasya: For Innner Peace.

She said that with this innocent look on her face. I was stunned and do not know what to say.

My daughter needs some inner peace-is this another way of telling me to buckle up my parenting skills?? I think I need to take up yoga.
