Accident

Last night, my aunt came to the house with her 4 kids to play 'bunga api' with Tasya and Azrai as they did the night before.

Just as they about to start playing, a friend of mine came to the house. Amli was busy entertained my friend, while I was with Adriana watching the kids playing the 'bunga api'. I can't be too close to the kids since the bunga api produced lots of smoke. Just watched them from far.

They were playing and having fun when Azrai got this idea of pointing out his 'bunga api' to people. His first victim was his uncle who is 7 years old. I scolded Azrai and then he stopped. Another round of 'bunga api' and this time Azrai victim was his sister, he pointed out the 'bunga api' straight to Tasya's eyes and I could not stop him on time.

Tasya was screaming, and saying that her eyes hurt. I was panicking and shouted for Amli. My aunt grab Azrai as he wanted to take another 'bunga api'. Amli grabbed Tasya and went to the tolite to wash her face with cold water. She was still screaming and keep on saying "sakit mata", "sakit mata". I went to get her and looked at her eyes, there were burning sign underneath her eyes but I was worried about the inside and to keep thing worse, Tasya refused to open her eyes for me to see. That when I realised that her eyelashes were effected. The 'bunga api' burned her eyelashes. I got worried because if the 'bunga api' burned her eyelashes it might hurt her kornea. I then told Amli that it is better for us to bring Tasya to see a doctor just to make sure that everything is ok.

So, off we go to APSH, went to the A&E department, saw a doctor and thank God her kornea was not efffected. Just the burned skin underneath her eyes. After that I asked Tasya do you want to play b'bunga api' agian, then she said no but she then said that she only wanted to play pop pop(another type of 'bunga api). Told her NO.

Went back home, Azrai was unhappy because w left him behind and he started complaining to us. Told him that it was his fault and he has to apologies to Tasya. He then went to Tasya and said "co yi kakak".

This is the second time Azrai has attempted to hurt Tasya's eyes. The first time with a pencil and the second time with 'bunga api'. I guess after this we have to be very very careful when Azrai is playing with Tasya. Luckily it was Tasya who knows how to protect herself. I cannot imagine what happened it it was Adriana.

Bubur Lambok kid

During this ramadhan period, we notice that adik loves bubur lambok. She will eat it twice per night, and each time it is 2 bowls of bubur lambok.

On the first day of ramadhan, we did not gave her anything solid except half boiled egg for her dinner, and at night she cried the whole night due to hunger. The next day, we decided to give her the bubur lambok and she loves it. Since then, we give her the bubur every night. Once at 6pm, so that she will not disturb us when we berbuka, and the other round around 9.30pm. After that she will sleep peacefully and only wake up once for her night feeding giving mama and ayah a very peaceful sleep too.

I guess after ramadhan we have to cook our own bubur lambok or will she get tired of the bubur after 30 days of having it every day. Probably. Guess we just have to wait and see.

Abang's words

Azrai is 'pelat' meaning that he cannot speak properly. It get worse when he get so excited and wants to tell us the story. Out of 10 words that came out from his mouth, the most that we could understand is 3. That's how bad he is but he is improving after watching lots of Playhouse Disney Channel, and talking to his ever talkative sister.

I'm hoping that this is only a phrase, and he will talks properly as he gets older otherwise more money going out as we need to sent him to speech theraphy. So, Abang better learn from Kakak on how to speak the correct way.
