Farah Natasya???

Remember my previous post-I wrote that Tasya wanted to change her name to Farah? Last Thursday, she had English class and the teacher gave her a piece of paper to write something on and she must write her name on that piece of paper and guess what name she wrote? FARAH NATASYA.

When I asked her who is Farah Natasya, she answered, it was her, and when I asked her why Farah Natasya, she said she likes that name and it sound nice when put together with her own name. But when you hear the name over and over again, it does sound better and suddenly her name sounds dull to me. I felt so guilty that I named her only Nor Natasya, and to think that the name is not given by us, Her name was given my my uncle who was the firstt visitor at the hospital.

When I was pregnant with Tasya, we purposely did not want to know the sex of the baby. We wanted it to be a surprised. So, we prepared for both names but somehow we had this feeling that it will be a boy. So, more boys name than girls, when Tasya was born the first thing that crossed my mind when the doctor announced that it's a girl was I do not have name for the baby.

So, when my uncle came to see us in the hospital at 7.30am in the morning, the first Q that he asked was "what is the name of the baby?" , we told him the whole story and that I wanted to name her Nor Sara but it sounded so dull, we wanted to find a third name for her, and was thinking about Nor Sara Jasmine. It sounded ok but still no right feeling. Then my uncle suggested how about Nor Natasya. It sounded just right. So we decided Nor Natasya then.

But now, Farah Natasya seems nice-unfortunately, it's too late to change her name-guess she has to settle with Nor Natasya, and if she wants to change her name, she has to wait until she is big and famous then she can ask people to call her Farah Natasya.

Mystery Nusantara

For the past week, Azrai has been waking up in the middle of the night crying for no apparent reason at all. He will start crying softly at first, and then it will continue for about 10 minutes before he launch his full crying volume. Once he starts crying, there's nothing you can do. Absolutely nothing. You just have to suffer in silence and at the same time trying very hard to control your temper. Do remember that this always happens at 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning, where you are 3/4 in the sleeping mode and only 1/4 of you are awake.

The thing that scare us is that- sometimes when he cries he will say that part of his body is hurting and sometimes he will says that he is scared of something. I always believe that we are not the only one in this world. There are others invisiable creatures that are sharing this limited space on earth. And I believe that there are few naughty creatures who likes to tease us the ordinary human. I always believe this but my hsband is the modern kind of man that think all of this is ridicilous, he does not want to bring my son to see those who can actually try to cure my son until now, where he can no longer tolerate the crying in the middle of the night for one whole week. Finally he agreed to take my son to this wise man hoping that he will be able to cure my son. We will see him tonight after i finish my work.

I will write the continuous of this story tomorrow, be prepared.

Everything I Do, I'll do it for you

My mother's neighbour has a granddaughter who is one year younger than Azrai. Azrai really likes her, her name is Qistina. Azrai called her "tina". He really fancied her( I think). Everytime, Tina is around, he will wait outside for her, he will call "tina", and give her cars, in fact his favourite cars. There were 2 of his favourite cars, he always play with them. One day while playing with the cars, Tina came to the fence and looked at Azrai. Of couse Azrai was so excited-showing to her his cars, and when she asked for it, he without hesitation gave it to her. His favourites cars!! I was there, I was so shocked. He loves the cars so much and yet when Tina asked from him. He just gave it to her. He never sees the cars again. When we asked him, where is his cars?? He will tell us proudly " Ca biya, tina". So cute!!!

Another thing is that Azrai still use his pacifier-now we are using Tina to make him stop, everytime, he wants his pacifier, we will tell him that Tina does not use pacifier, which is the truth. Hope this work because whenever Tina is around-he does not use his pacifier!!

Now, I have 2 things to worry about-Tasya and her crush on Ahmad Danial and Azrai with his obsession with Tina.

Whenever Tina is around, Azrai will also be there. Whatever Tina asked from Azrai-Azrai will do it for her.

Crush

Tasya was invited to her classmate birthday party last Saturday, since I was working, Amli have to take her there. This is what happened at the birthday party as told by Amli.

They arrived at the party earlier than the rest of her classmate, she looked bored. Apparently the birthday boy just joined her class. Previously he was from other class but they closed the class and he then joined Tasya's class( sound so familiar-we close your class, and transfered you to other class.) Tasya is not quite familiar with him. She does not seem enjoying the party.

Then suddenly, she went like "Yes!!", then started rearranging her hair. Amli was puzzled, when suddenly she has became so excited, then she said "Yes, Ahmad Danial is here". She has a crush on this guy and she was so excited when she saw him there!!!

Amli was in between laughing and worrying. He was laughing because what she did was so funny, but he started to worry because she is only 5 and she start having crush on boys. Imagine when she is 15 years old!!! Amli will have grey hair before he turns 40!!

Tasya has a very wild imagination, sometimes she will pretends that she is a grown up and start talking on the phone as if she is talking to her boyfriend, saying something like," Betul, I sukakan You, I tak suka dia"(Trasnlation: "Honestly, I like you, I don't fancy him". Sometimes she will tell people that she went out with her favourite artist i.e Zahid, she told the story so well if people don't know her, they will think that she did went out with Zahid. Sometimes I get worried about her behaviour but then who did not day dreaming when we were kids right??

I really hope that she will get over it and start concentrating on the real thing. But then again, dreaming if free and hopefully something good will come out of it.

Night Story

Please imagine our sleeping arrangement, all of us will sleep on the floor. From L to R: Tasya, Amli, Azrai, Adraina and me. This is the arrangement when we start to sleep. Waking up in the middle of the night, the pattern has changed dramatically. I will be at my position, Adriana will be at my legs;Azrai will be where Adriana was, sometimes Tasya will be next to me or next to Azrai, and Amli will be where Tasya was. Imagine how the kids moved in their sleep. Sometimes, Adriana will cry in the middle of the night if she cannot turn around, she will try to move but either Azrai or Tasya will be on her side. And that irritated her.

With Azrai is different story, he must have someone close to him at night-if he feels that he is alone, he will cry and you have to hold him and tell him that you will sleep with him. This is my SON, he's supposed to be the protector for his sisters but he still call himself baby, ;)

Tasya will wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes talking and sometimes walking. It's scary sometimes to see her waking up in the middle of the night and start talking and sometimes walking-it's eerie.

With 3 kids; 3 different sleeping patterns, Tasya with her walking and talking, Azrai with sleep with me closely and Adriana with her space. The parents-no choice!!

Lice, Lice, Go Away

Today my sister discovered something gruesome about Tasya's hair. She is the breeding ground for LICES!!! There are so many of them-you can actually see them walking( do they walk??) between her thick hair.

It's amazing that I never notice that before, the thing is she has a very thick hair, it's very difficult for you to see her scull unless you really looking for it. I guess that is why it's a very suitable place for those blood sucking lice.

The moment that my sister told me, my head was like how could this be??? She cannot get it from the school, because if she get it from the school, she will get it long time ago, and we could have notice it already, then I remember, I think I know who is the culprit that has infected my daughter with the blood sucking parasite, unfortunately cannot tell names the parents might read this and I do not want to offend anybody( although I would love to do just that!!!. How could the parents let their daughter be the breeding ground for that parasite and transfer them to my lovely daughter!!!

My husband suggested that we cut Tasya's hair short, but she has a short hair already!! I do not want to cut her hair, the next best thing to do or is it the only thing to do is to buy the medicated shampoo and wash hers and our hair and hoping that those blood sucking pasarite will die. The funny thing after I found out that Tasya has lice, I feel that I have a ichy head-ehhhh is that means that I also have lice too??

Lice, lice go away..please go to another person head!!!!

Hello..is it me you looking for??

Yesterday I was on a night duty, so the kids and Amli picked me up at 9.00pm. On the way home we stopped at Petronas to refuel. Azrai was begging me to let him go out to the Kedai Mesra, and when Azrai say he wants to go- we better let him go.

So, we went into the store, I was looking for a box of tissue, Azrai and Tasya were exploring the store. They saw chuppi chup( this is a kind of lolipop-for those who do not have kids). I bought them the sugar free ones. At first Azrai refuses to take it, he wants the non sugar free ones, I refuse to give it to him knowing that too much sugar at 9.00pm is NOT good for him. I want to sleep early tonight. I gave the lolipop to him, he took it and chuck it away then he turned around. This is when he saw her...

Behind him was this girl about his age looking at him in disbelief( probably too shock after seeing Azrai throwing his chuppi chup. When Azrai saw her, he quickly pick up his chuppi chup, and went over to her to say hello, but the funny thing is the moment Azrai went to her-she ran away!!!!! Then Azrai have a change of attitude, he becomes so obedient. Ahh...he has the typical guy thing-be good in front of the girl that you fancy!!!!

I want to relax at home and do my homework

Tasya was absent from school yesterday. A night before she came to me telling me that she was not feeling well. She has a slight temperature. SO, I gave her the medication and put her to sleep.

Yesterday morning, it was raining heavily and looking at her sound asleep, I decided to let her sleep a bit longer since I'm in the evening shift. I took her temperature and it was normal. Woke her up, then the drama begins. She started crying, saying that she is ill, she cannot go to school, she has fever, and cough and running nose, she has everything. Told her no, you are fine and you have to go to school. Then my father felt pity for her and then said " She can stay at home for one day, and it's 8.30am already-she is late". She took that as a yes and took off her schoold uniform and quickly change to her normal cloth.

At night I asked her if your teacher ask you why you did not come to school yesterday, what would you say? With her innocent look she look at me and say " mama, if Mrs Chin ask me why I absent yesterday, I just say that I need to relax at home and do my homework" :)

I want it all, I want it all and I want it NOW!!!!

This is the song from Queen and I think it's suits Azrai really well. Azrai is the most impatient one of the three of them.

In the middle of the night, if he says that he wants his Milo. You better do it that instant. But being a 'good' parents that we are-sometimes we just try to buy some time with him. We will tell him that we'll do it later, once he starts his full crying you can expect him to throw his tantrum for at least 10 minutes!! And with Azrai when he throws a tantrum, he really throws a tantrum!!! He will scream, and cry and refuse to be calm dowm. He will refuse his milo and you have to be relly patient with him. After he has a good tantrum, he will accept his milo and go back to sleep!!!

That's Azrai, when he wants something-he wants it all and most importantly he wants it NOW!!!!
