"Eyo"

Everytime the phone rings, there is a race at our home- who can get to the phone first!!! Azrai will run as fast as he can, while Tasya who always happen to be close by the phone will wait until Azrai is close enough to pick up the phone then she will slowly pick it up.

Then the battle begins, Azrai will scream as loud as he can and try to take the phone from Tasya while Tasya will hold on to the phone as if her life depends on it, while doing it she also will cry and scream. I pity those who call our home and get this kind of response!!!

The thing is, when Azrai picked up the phone, he can only says "Eyo", and after that what came out from his mouth is a unrecognised languauge, and the people from the other end have to listen to him until one of us take the phone form him. If he failed to pick up the call he will sulk, and just stand there with a pathetic look.

If Tasya lost the battle, she will cry with this annoying sound, that start with a soft note and move to slighty higher note that make you go crazy. She has this gift of doing this to her poor mother, and she getting good at it. Although she is the oldest but she is the most 'manja'. I guess this is because she has been the centre of attention for 2 years before Azrai came along.

So, next time you call our home, don't be surprise when you hear "eyo" followed by kids screaming at your ears!!!!
